Any night that includes a Noreboat is going to be a good one. How have I not been doing this every weekend?

Beautiful Noreboat in the Masan Dream Bay

For those of you who don't know, Nore (노래) means singing in Korean.  So a nore-boat, is a singing boat.  Essentially it is karaoke on a boat.  This particular Noreboat leaves from Masan Harbor, behind the fish market, and travels for 1 hour around Masan's Dream Bay.  It is an amazing experience and highly recommended if you get a chance.  One of my absolute favorite things to do in Korea.  (This was a night trip, but if you can get it right at sunset, the views aren't half bad either.)

Sh*t my Students Say

Me: What do you think the character is saying?
Student: I want to be a cripple!

Sh*t my Students DO

My 6th graders got to class early to do this to the computer mouse. I just... don't know.

Yep, that is a carrot disguised as a mouse.

Korean kids are weird.

Tok-YOLO (Tokyo for Chuseok)

Took a trip to Tokyo for Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving), it was an amazing trip and I fell instantly in love with Japan.  I most certainly want to go back someday, but for now here are some quotes, and highlights from the trip.  Enjoy....
Having such a delightful time in Tokyo. Yesterday explored the worlds largest intersection, did some shopping, had some sushi, went to the SkyView tower, was in a movie, saw one of the worlds largest sex stores, saw a temple, visited some markets, and today... Conquered the 9th best roller coaster in the world.... 5 times! So so much more than what I can list here. LOVE Japan!

About to go to my happy place. Foot massage FTW... Def need it after all this exploring, and before the robot show tonight.
Robots, bikinis, and the land of the rising sun indeed.
I never knew how happy this would make me. Hahaha
Ah like most things Japanese... That was totally bizarre yet absolutely wonderful.
I love Japan so much... I've yet to see a cleaner, more vibrant, interesting, odd, cultured, and happy country... Just wow!
Made it back to the land of kimchi with 165 yen to spare... I already miss Japan, and know I'll definitely go back, but for now... I most certainly need a rest. Tok-yolo!
haha - the hostel sent me this...

Needless to say, the trip was bizarre and absolutely wonderful.  A most amazing experience on my last trip from/to Korea.  Hopefully, I'll be able to get pictures and more stories updated soon... but need to start preparing for my final exit from Kimchi Land.
